Etiquette Statement
“ We and staff should treat each other with respect shared
Each of us can make it better by being considerate
the building.”
Program Commitment
The YMCA of Kitchener-Waterloo is committed to ensuring
that children are given opportunities in a fun, comfortable
and safe environment to play, learn and grow. Our programs
are designed to foster a lifetime of health and happiness
through the development of a child's spirit, mind and
body.
Program Delivery System
Our program-delivery system of “Open Access” and “Registered” programs
is structured to provide parents and caregivers with
greater convenience, choice and quality. Programs displaying
the symbol ® require registration.
All other listed programs are “Open Access” and
do not require registration to participate.
Program Absences
The Y's continuous registration system provides parents
the convenience of moving their children in and out
of program based on their needs. Regular attendance
ensures
enrolment and development of skills. If your child
misses 3 classes in a row their registration will
be deleted
and the spot will be given to another child waiting
to participate. This practice ensures that the Y's
1000
child members have equal opportunity to participate.
Parents may register children back into program at
any time depending on availability.
Building Access
General Access Please scan your card through the building
access scanner at the Member Service Desk each time
you enter the facility. This registers your visit
