K-W YMCA Endowment Foundation.
The
purpose of the Endowment Foundation is to build
a permanent fund to meet both the current and
future financial needs of the Kitchener-Waterloo YMCA.
You can help build the endowment fund by making
a cash donation now or a future planned gift.
Planned gifts offer significant benefits to both the donor and
the YMCA. A planned gift is often a gift
tailored specifically to meet a donor's financial
needs and philanthropic objectives. Donors
can enjoy current and/or future tax relief as
well as great satisfaction in knowing they are
helping to build a bright financial future for
the YMCA. A planned gift allows the donor
to make a sizable gift out of assets acquired
over a lifetime, which he or she may not have
been able to afford from regular cash flow.
The YMCA builds stronger relationships with planned
giving donors by enrolling them in special recognition
clubs like the Heritage Club.
Endowment Foundation
donors have the unique option to either give an
unrestricted gift or designate their gift to a
Named Fund of their choice. The YMCA has
established a number of Named Funds which address
current needs. You
can honour a loved one by naming a fund in their
memory. Please see the criteria that would
apply.
