The Voyageur trips will either spark or rekindle an appreciation for the breathtaking beauty of Northern Ontario. Voyageurs begin their trip paddling on one of the many beautiful and tranquil rivers in the nearby vicinity of Wabanaki (a 1-2 hour drive away). After 4 days on the river, the roup of 10 girls and boys and 2 trippers will meet up with one of our drivers and trade their paddles for hiking boots, and continue their trip on solid ground. Four days and a quick van ride later, the final component of the tripping adventure begins with a sea-kayaking excursion along the shores of Georgian Bay.

Once back at camp, Voyageurs will spend a day unpacking and cleaning up their gear, debriefing and getting ready to head home.

Our tripping staff are lifeguard qualified, experienced in tripping, and enthusiastic and eager to share their knowledge about the wonders of nature. Trips are in contact with camp a minimum of twice - while equipment is re-supplied, and while the group is transported to the Georgian Bay drop off. These trips will carry satellite phones.

Sturdy footwear required: hiking shoes or boots
